To meet these demands, Sea Source needed a robust Automatic Identification System that could track vessels live, analyse performance, and present critical information in a clear, digestible format. That’s where Izon came in. Built around modularity and customisation, the Izon platform allowed Sea Source to deploy only the functionality they needed, while tailoring key areas to meet complex, project-specific requirements. The resulting solution delivered a powerful set of capabilities, including live vessel tracking and historical route analysis, aggregation of AIS data from multiple sources, alert filtering and prioritisation by risk level, and real-time reporting cross-referenced against variables such as weather, asset position and operational status. Together, these features created a single, unified operational view - giving Sea Source real-time visibility of risk and performance in a constantly changing environment. But the impact extended well beyond monitoring. Automated workflow management improved vessel efficiency, reduced project timelines and lowered operational costs. Onshore, accurate real-time reporting freed up administrative resources, enabling teams to work more efficiently while maintaining tighter control over risk and compliance.
